Karen Frantz
Karen Frantz is the Policy and Advocacy Associate at the American Humanist Association, where she aims to raise awareness about Humanism and issues related to Humanism. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2003 with a BA in psychology. She has previously worked in documentary and educational television production, and has written for the acclaimed PBS series Think Tank with Ben Wattenberg, a public policy debate show. She is most concerned about church-state separation, women’s rights and reproductive issues, GLBT equality, and a sensible drug policy.

Anne Mardick
Anne Mardick is a retired telecommunications professional. She spent most of her career in new product development including director positions at both US West (now Qwest) and Sprint. She graduated with a BS Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and an MS in Telecommunications from Golden Gate University.
Anne lives in Scottsdale, Arizona where she serves as president of the Americans United for Separation of Church & State – Greater Phoenix Chapter and is a national field organizer for the AHA. Her passion is to educate people about humanism and humanistic values and strives to ensure social justice for all members of society. She volunteers for the Arizona ACLU (a card-carrying member for 15+ years), immigration rights groups and is a life-member of both the Humanist Society of Greater Phoenix and the American Humanist Association.

Bob Ritter
Bob Ritter is the legal coordinator for the American Humanist Association’s Appignani Humanist Legal Center where he works with the Center’s cooperating attorneys to promote the legal interests of Humanists. He received a B.A. in Government from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from the Northern Virginia Law School. He is a member of the D.C. and Virginia bars, has served on an ACLU chapter board for over 20 years and tracks federal church-state cases in his spare time for the Jefferson Madison Center for Religious Liberty.

Clayton Whitt
Clayton Whitt is the development assistant at the American Humanist Association, where he works on fundraising, membership communications, and Free Mind. He was an antiwar and social justice activist at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, from which he graduated with a degree in social sciences in 2004. A native of California, he moved to Washington, DC after completing two years of Peace Corps service in Bolivia. His main interests are human rights, civil liberties, global poverty, and the environment.
